The Apple Vision Pro headset is one of the most anticipated gadgets for 2024. As Apple already announced, preorders for Vision Pro start Friday, January 19. On February 2, the device will be available on Apple Stores and online sales. While Vision Pro will be initially headed to the US market, the well-known Apple tipster and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed more details about the launch on non-US markets.

According to Kuo’s blog post, Apple plans to launch the Vision Pro headset on the non-US market before WWDC 2024. The next Apple WWDC event is scheduled for June 2024, and customers outside the US might be lucky enough to get their hands on the Vision Pro headset before the upcoming WWDC event.

Ming-Chi Kuo says Apple will reveal more details about its in-works visionOS on WWDC 2024, and launching Vision Pro on non-US markets could help the firm ” promote the global development ecosystem of visionOS.”

Apple Vision Pro first comes to the US market, but it might land on non-US markets before WWDC 2024

Kuo also said Apple’s decision to prioritize the US market for launching Vision Pro is due to the limited initial supply of the device, smooth handling of sales in the US, and adapting the headset to each country’s regulation. If Apple successfully handles these three issues, more countries will get Vision Pro in a shorter period.

You can now preorder Apple Vision Pro at $3,499 with 256GB of storage. In the package, you’ll find a face seal, a battery pack, a polishing cloth, a cover for the front, and two seal cushions. US-based customers will receive their gadgets on February 2 and afterward.

Apple CEO Tim Cook has described Vision Pro as the beginning of the “spatial computing” era. “Apple Vision Pro is the most advanced consumer electronics device ever created. Its revolutionary and magical user interface will redefine how we connect, create, and explore.” Cook said.

Apple has also showcased some entertainment experiences that will launch with the Vision Pro headset. The company says Vision Pro provides more pixels than a 4K TV for each eye. Additionally, it benefits from an advanced Spatial Audio system.
