A rather disturbing rumor surfaced recently, claiming that ASUS plans to ditch its Zenfone lineup of devices, and that the Zenfone 10 will be the last phone to be released as part of it. Well, ASUS was quick to deny that rumor, as the Zenfone lineup is here to stay.

The ASUS Zenfone lineup is here to stay, the Zenfone 10 won’t be the end of series

ASUS officially confirmed this via its official website, to be perfectly clear. The company said that the aforementioned rumor is “not true”. The company wanted to be clear that the Zenfone 10 is not the last generation of Zenfone products.

ASUS said: “We will continue our two main phone business product lines, the ROG Phone and the Zenfone”. In addition to that, the company also said: “ASUS has a strong commitment to our smartphone business and customers”.

As if that’s not clear enough, ASUS also said for everyone to stay tuned for the company’s “2024 product lineups”. The company could not have been more straight to the point, the Zenfone is not going anywhere.

The very first ASUS Zenfone device was announced way back in 2014. The last couple of generations really managed to stand out, though. ASUS switched to a stock Android, and added a lot of value to it, without adding bloatware.

ASUS has been offering truly compelling smartphones for years now

On top of that, the company really managed to offer a different product in the last couple of years, hardware-wise. The Zenfone 10, the last product in the series, offers outstanding battery life, a great set of features, and a price tag that seems more than fair. On top of that, the phone is also compact, and is considered to be one of the best compact smartphones in the market, if not the best one.

We reviewed the device, actually, and truly loved it. It would have been sad to see the Zenfone lineup go away, and luckily, that won’t happen, it seems. We’ll get the Zenfone 11 next year, or whatever ASUS decides to name it.

The Zenfone 8, 9, and 10 are all highly regarded in the tech industry, so let’s hope that ASUS will keep the momentum.
