These games allow you to pound on your enemies without getting hurt yourself.
There are different 1v1 fighting games with different styles of gameplay out there. They range from simply tapping and swiping to activating special moves when your meter fills up. Regardless of the play style, here are 10 of the best 1v1 fighting games you can get on Android.

Shadow Fight 4 is the latest in the popular 1v1 fighting games from Nekki. The early Shadow Fight has been popular because of its silhouette graphics and realistic movement, but the fourth installment has more traditional 3D graphics.
The gameplay is pretty straightforward. You have the digital joystick on the left of the screen with the attack buttons on the right side. You have your choice between your upper attack, kick, projectile attack, and special attack. Your projectile and special attacks have a cooldown while your other attacks are standard.
The movements in the game are pretty good, and the graphics are definitely upper-tier. Also, the gameplay is smooth. If you’re a fan of the franchise, then you’ll want to give it a try.

SMASH LEGENDS is definitely a different type of fighting game. Instead of being a 2D or 2.5D game, it’s fully 3D. In this game, you’ll be put into a fully 3D environment with an isometric perspective. You’ll use the entire playfield as you battle your opponent.
You’ll have your action and attack buttons on the bottom of the screen, and you’ll use those to battle. The first person to knock their opponent out of the ring three times will win the round. You’ll knock the opponent out when you diminish their health bar down to zero.
The knockouts are similar to what you’d see in Super Smash Bros. You can tell that there’s some influence there, but SMASH LEGENDS still manages to maintain an identity all its own.

Smash Champs is one of the more unique games on this list. It has you doing battle with a cast of powerful animal characters. They each have their own personalities and special attacks.
The gameplay for this game is different from most other fighting games. Instead of pressing buttons on the screen, you’ll swipe on your screen to do your attacks. You’ll swipe toward the opponent to attack and swipe away to step back. As you play the round, you’ll eventually gain your special attack. You’ll use it to deal additional damage.
As you play the game, you’ll see collectibles like coins fall on the ground. You’ll want to swipe those in order to collect them. You’ll use those to purchase upgrades for your character.

This is a 3D 3rd-person fighting game, so the camera will be behind your character as you fight. While that’s the case, the controls are still pretty straightforward. You’ll use the joystick on the left of the screen to steer your character and tap on the right side of the screen to attack. You’ll also be able to dodge oncoming attacks.
What’s neat about this game is that you can customize your character at the beginning. you can change the skin tone, hair color and style, and some of the physical attributes. This allows you to give your character your own fair.
TRANSFORMERS: Forged to Fight

TRANSFORMERS: Forged To Fight brings the franchise to smartphones. In this game, you engage in 1v1 battles with other characters across different series. Like most 1v1 fighting mobile games, you tap and swipe on the screen to do your attacks, and you need to get your opponent down to zero health.
What’s neat about this game is that you can play as characters from different Transformers franchises. You can play as Autobots and Decepticons, and you can even play as the characters from Beast Wars. There’s a lot of variety that will satisfy any fan of the franchise.

There aren’t too many games out there about one-on-one brawls between knights of the olden days, but Knight Fight 2 is here. As you can guess, you’ll be using an assortment of different weapons from medieval times to do battle against your opponent. It’s in the third-person point of view, so you’ll be able to move around your opponent.
You will use the joystick on the left side of the screen to control what direction you’ll be slashing in. Then, you will use the slash button on the right to perform your attack. Also, there’s a dodge button on the right to avoid your opponent’s attacks.
This is one of the better-looking games on the mobile market. The characters are very detailed, and there’s a lot of attention made to the textures, lighting, and shadows. It’s a hefty game, but definitely worth it if you want some good old medieval action.

The characters are stick figures, and they fight by lunging into each other. When your character makes contact with the enemy, it will automatically attack. When it comes to attacks, there are all types of attacks performed. When you start the round, you’ll have a randomly-selected weapon. It could be a projectile weapon, melee weapon, magical weapon, etc. Each weapon has a different means of attack, so it’s anyone’s guess which one you’ll get.

The art style may be pretty simplistic, but this game is definitely a high-octane action-packed adventure. You’ll be able to fly around the arena just like in the animes and perform supercharged attacks against your enemy. There are plenty of animations and effects to keep the eye satisfied.
Also, you can definitely feel the impact of all the punches due to the amazing sound design. It’s a simple straightforward and high-impact game to pass the time.

Most of the fighting games on this list are pretty extreme, but this one is about the good old sport of boxing. It has a 3D third-person point of view, which has you bouncing around the ring as you beat your opponent.
Just like with real-world boxing, timing plays a major role in this game. Successfully dodging your opponent’s attacks leaves them open for some powerful attacks that you can perform to do additional damage. Speaking of doing the additional damage, each character has a power attack that they can use after you fill up a special bar. It can definitely be a finisher if your characters’ health is low enough.
This is a fun and cartoonish game you can play to blow off some steam.

Ultimate Fighting is meant to give you an authentic arcade-like fighting experience. You’ll fight using a cast of creative and dynamic characters and they all come with their own special attacks. Each character also has its own aesthetic and gimmick.
Using this game is pretty similar to other games. You have a traditional-looking joystick on the left side of the screen and your options for attacks on the right. You have your typical attack buttons, but there are also powered attacks that you can use to deal more damage.
As you fight, you’ll earn coins, and you’ll be able to use those coins to upgrade your character’s stats. This is a great game to play if you miss the feeling of playing traditional arcade games.
