This month’s best Chinese smartphones list is a bit different than last month’s, as the OnePlus 5T arrived in the meantime, and took made the list. OnePlus’ new flagship is facing some serious competition from Xiaomi, Huawei, and Honor. We have seen quite a few powerful phones from China being announced this year, so there are quite a few compelling options for those of you who are looking to purchase a new smartphone. So, let’s get started, shall we.
5. Honor 9
The Honor 9 is still one of Honor’s most powerful smartphones out there. This handset is made out of metal and glass, and it’s quite compact. The Honor 9 comes with a 5.15-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, while it is available in either 4GB or 6GB RAM variants, though such availability is region-dependent. The Honor 9 is fueled by the Kirin 960 64-bit octa-core processor, and the device sports a front-facing fingerprint scanner. 4. Xiaomi Mi 6
The Xiaomi Mi 6 is, next to the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, Xiaomi’s most powerful smartphone. The Xiaomi 6 is made out of metal and glass, while its back side is curved. This phone comes with a front-facing fingerprint scanner as well, while it is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor. The Xiaomi Mi 6 comes with a 3,350mAh non-removable battery, while the phone is quite compact, just like the Honor 9, as it sports a 5.15-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display. 3. Huawei P10 & Huawei P10 Plus
The Huawei P10 and P10 Plus are no longer Huawei’s most powerful handsets, but they’re still amongst the most powerful phones this company had even introduced. The Huawei P10 and P10 Plus sport the same exact build, but the P10 Plus is considerably larger. Both of these phones are made out of metal, and both sport front-facing fingerprint scanners, while you’ll find a dual camera setup with Leica’s lenses on both of these phones. Both devices are fueled by the Kirin 960 64-bit octa-core processor, while the Huawei P10 sports a smaller, 5.1-inch fullHD display. The Huawei P10 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch QHD panel, and you’ll find an 8-megapixel camera on the front side of both of these phones. 2. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is Xiaomi’s flagship which sports really thin bezels. This phone comes in two variants, one is built out of metal and glass, while the other one sports a combo of metal and ceramic. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 sports a 5.99-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display, while it is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor. The phone comes in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, and it sports a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. On the back of this phone, you’ll also find a single camera, while the device comes with Android Nougat out of the box, and the company’s MIUI 9 OS is installed on top of it. 1. OnePlus 5T
The OnePlus 5T is the company’s second flagship of the year, it’s fueled by the same processor as its sibling, the OnePlus 5, and it also comes with the same RAM and storage counts. The OnePlus 5T, however, sports a larger, 6.01-inch fullHD+ Optic AMOLED display, which sports a different aspect ratio (18:9). The OnePlus 5T is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC, and the phone packs in a 3,300mAh non-removable battery, which is being recharged using Dash Charge, one of the fastest charging solutions out there at the moment.
