The Sennheiser ACCENTUM Plus headphones offer a lot and yet won’t break the bank.

Sennheiser announced two new pairs of earphones and one pair of headphones at CES 2024. The product that resonated most with us is the Sennheiser ACCENTUM Plus, the company’s new headphones, which is why we’ve opted to send one of our CES 2024 awards that way. These headphones really do offer a lot for the asking price, so much so that they managed to surprise us.

The Sennheiser ACCENTUM Plus headphones are not flashy, quite the contrary

The Sennheiser ACCENTUM Plus headphones may not be flashy, but they look really nice. These are minimalistic-looking headphones, which is what most people will be interested in either way. You want something that will blend in and be comfortable, not something that will make everyone look at you while you’re wearing them. The initial impression is that they’re well-built, and comfortable, at least at first.

These headphones do offer touch controls on the sides, which is an improvement over the regular ‘ACCENTUM’ headphones. Physical buttons begone. ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) is, of course, a part of the package, and it’s actually adaptable. It will adapt based on how noisy is around you. Wind-reduction is also included in the package, and the same goes for Bluetooth multipoint functionality. On top of all that, an adjustable side tone feature is also a part of the package.

These are wireless headphones but can turn into wired ones when needed

Do note that these are wireless headphones, that you can charge. However, an audio cable does come with them, and if you opt to you it, they turn into wired headphones. That is always great to see, just in case you’re left without a charge or something. The Sennheiser ACCENTUM Plus headphones also come with sensors that will know when you wear them, and when you don’t. Based on that, they can play or pause music.

Transducers are unchanged compared to the regular ACCENTUM headphones, we’re looking at 37mm transducers. In case you’re wondering about battery life, that’s also something that’s unchanged. Sennheiser says you can get 50 hours of use from these headphones before they need a charger. Needless to say, that’s very, very good. They also use aptX HD for hi-res audio over Bluetooth and include a Type-C USB port.
