Blackview is well-known for launching rugged smartphones. Well, the company has decided to switch things up. The Blackview OSCAL is a power station, and the company says it’s the world’s first rugged power station.

In any case, the Blackview OSCAL PowerMax 3600 is a really beefy power station. It follows on the success of the PowerMax 300 and PowerMax 700 which launched a while back.
Unlike most other power stations, which support up to 10 battery packs, the PowerMax 3600 supports 15 of them. It offers a max battery capacity of 57.6kWh for up to 30 days of home backup.
Blackview says that this power station can be fully charged in only 1.2 hours. The company claims that is faster than you’d get from the competition. This power station supports 3600W of output power. You can easily power grills, chainsaws, air conditioners, and many, many other.
It has 14 output ports
There are 14 output ports on the Blackview OSCAL PowerMax 3600. Blackview included EV-class LiFePo4 battery here, which has a lifespan of up to 25 years. They’re an improvement over NCM/NCA batteries.
The OSCAL PowerMax 3600 uses TI chips with a 10% faster button response speed. You can even control this power station via a smartphone app.
Now, we did say that this power station is rugged. It can be dropped from up to 0.8m vertically without a problem. It is also dust-proof, splash-proof, and has anti-UV and fire-retardant capabilities. Regardless of whether it’s warm or cold, this power station can handle its own. Ranges from -20°C to 55°C are not a problem.
It supports five LED light modes
The OSCAL PowerMax 3600 also supports five LED light modes for illumination, if you need it. You can even use these lights to transmit Morse code SOS in a flashing pattern. The OSCAL PowerMax 3600 not only supports typical zero-cost green energy sources (like solar charging), but it also makes it easier to charge from wind (wind turbines) and water (water turbines). You can easily connect solar panels to this power station to take advantage of solar charging, for example.
Once released, Blackview says you should get your power station within 7-10 days following payment. You’ll also get a 4-year warranty, and 24/7 online support. There are also several offline service centers mentioned by the company.
