At CES 2024 in Las Vegas this week, Chipolo is announcing a new limited edition tracker, which the company calls a “bold, unconventional move to encourage self-acceptance and to celebrate authenticity.” The company is debuting 10,000 limited edition “Perfectly Imperfect” Chipolo CARD Spot wallet finders that work exclusively with the Apple Find My network.
“Chipolo is excited to introduce the ‘Perfectly Imperfect’ limited series of CARD spot trackers, as it’s another testament to our dedication to creating products that make our lives easier – both physically,t through functionality, and mentally, by helping to bring peace of mind,” said Primoz Zelensek, the co-founder and CEO of Chipolo.
Each new Chipolo CARD Spot tracker is unique
According to the company, each one of its CARD Spot trackers in the new “Perfectly Imperfect” collection is unique as it has a distinct blemish on one side. Though it’s a pretty minor cosmetic blemish, so many might not even notice it with the “Perfectly Imperfect” engraving on the other side.
The engraving resembles the type of illustration done with a marker. The company says that when developing the font, Chipolo collaborated with an independent, female-owned type design studio based in Slovenia. Chipolo wanted a lettering style that would reflect the core values of the brand, such as friendliness and openness, as well as support the overarching idea of the campaign. Which is that we are not perfect, and our perceived imperfections are part of what makes us unique.
Chipolo says that for every “Perfectly Imperfect” CARD Spot tracker that is sold, $1 will be donated to support the missions of three non-profit organizations. Those include The Global Mental Health Peer Network, Hilfsgemeinschaft der Blinden und Sehschwachen Osterreichs, and VDC Zasavje.
These CARD Spot trackers from Chipolo are the same trackers that you know and love from the company, but with a blemish on the side, and will help support a great cause. These trackers can slide into your wallet and use Apple’s Find My network to help find your wallet when you lose it. Which, let’s face it, we do quite often.
