Amazon is offering a discount on the 240Hz model of the Corsair Xenon gaming monitor right now where you can save $100 on the purchase price. That brings the price down from $799 to $699.
For a gaming monitor of this caliber, $699 is a pretty decent price, especially if you value having a fast frame rate in addition to a good resolution. While the monitor isn’t 4K, it is QHD so your games will still look great when it comes to visual clarity. More importantly, though, is that this monitor comes with a 240Hz refresh rate. If you have ever been playing a game and noticed things look a bit choppy or just not as smooth as they could, there’s a good chance that your frame rate has something to do with it.
You might have a powerful PC that can support higher frames. But that won’t mean much if your monitor doesn’t also support those higher frame rates. With the Xenon you won’t have to worry about that. Corsair also designed this monitor to resist motion blur so you get consistently high frames. In addition to the frame rate the Xenon monitor also has a 32-inch panel, so it’s a decent size for seeing everything on-screen when you’re playing games.
There’s VESA DisplayHDR 600 support as well for excellent color contrasts. You might not want HDR turned on in every single game. But there will be some titles where it will make sense and look better. It also has some really nice quality-of-life perks. Such as cable management. The monitor comes with two snap-on tie downs that you can route the cables through. This can help you keep a cleaner desk space so that cables from your PC and console aren’t strewn about everywhere. All-in-all, this is a great gaming monitor with plenty of excellent features.
