Users currently need to install the not-yet-released iOS or iPadOS 16.2 updates to access the update for Eve’s smart home gadgets.

Benefits of Matter

Matter is the new standard for smart home devices that aims to make them more interoperable and easier to use. One of the key benefits of Matter is its focus on simplicity and ease of use. These devices are designed to be intuitive and easy to set up, so users can get their smart home up and running in no time. This makes it easy for anyone, regardless of their technical expertise, to enjoy the benefits of a smart home.

Another major advantage of Matter is its ability to make different smart home devices from different manufacturers work together seamlessly. This means that users no longer have to worry about compatibility issues when adding new devices to their smart home setup. Besides being easy to use and interoperable, Matter is also secure. It uses state-of-the-art encryption to protect users’ data and privacy.

Overall, the update of Eve’s smart home gadgets with Matter support is exciting news for users of these devices. It will provide them with a more seamless and enjoyable smart home experience, and it represents a major step forward for the smart home industry.
