That’s $20 cheaper than Govee’s own sale on its official website. Now as the name suggests, this is a corner floor lamp so it’s meant to be placed in a corner. But you can just as easily place it anywhere if you like. However, placing it in a corner will get you the best results for what this lamp offers. At the very least you want it up against the wall. Because you want the light to brighten up the surface of it. In terms of what this lamp can do, it can display up to 16 million colors and it offers 57 dynamic scene modes that are preconfigured in the app.
You can also use the app to turn the lights on and off and adjust the brightness. So you never have to get up and look for the lamp remote. You can even forego picking up your phone to launch the app. Because these lamps are compatible with both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The Govee RGBIC Smart Corner Floor Lamp gets pretty bright at 1,000 lumens so it easily lights up most rooms. You’ll get better light with the lamp set to white light though so keep that in mind.
