It seems like Lenovo is planning to launch a new high-end smartphone. The device in question is coming with the name ‘Lenovo Halo’ (though that could be its codename only), and the details have been shared by Evan Blass.

Lenovo ‘Halo’ smartphone is coming with high-end specifications

The tipster not only shared two renders of the device, showing us its front and back side, but also the device’s specs. Let’s take a look at the renders first, shall we. Both of those have been included in the same picture, shown below.

As you can see, the design looks… well, expected. Many devices out there offer a similar design, though the camera setup on the back looks slightly different from everything else we’ve seen. You’ll also notice the ‘Legion’ branding on the back, so it’s possible the ‘Halo’ is just a codename.

A display camera hole is included here, and it is centered, as you can see. The device seems to have a flat display, with rather thin bezels. All of the physical buttons sit on the right-hand side of this phone.

The phone will likely be made out of metal and glass, based on these renders. We’re only guessing, of course, as we cannot be 100-percent sure based on these images.

TSMC-manufactured Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will fuel this phone

Now, in regards to specs. This will be a high-end device, no doubt about it. First and foremost, the device is said to be fueled by the Qualcomm SM8475 SoC. That is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, but the variant that will be manufactured by TSMC.

The phone will feature a 6.67-inch fullHD+ POLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It will also offer a 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 8, 12, or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. In addition to that, Lenovo will include 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage.

A 5,000mAh battery will also be a part of the package, and it will support 68W wired charging. 50, 13, and 2-megapixel cameras will sit on the back of this phone. A single 16-megapixel camera will be included on the front.

The device will be less than 8mm thick, and it is coming in the third quarter of this year.
