LG is continuing to pre-announce new products that it will showcase at CES next month, and the next product is the Cinebeam Qube. This is a new projector from the company that looks absolutely stunning. It’s a piece of art that also gives you an incredible picture.

The Cinebeam Qube comes with a stylish design that even has a handle that resembles a crank, which LG is calling “minimalist”. It also has a bunch of high-end tech and other bells and whistles inside. The handle also helps to position the projector, which LG calls “one of the smallest projectors available”, even though the Cinebeam Qube has no release date nor pricing, and so it’s not actually available yet.

This is a 4K projector with up to a 120-inch image

The important part of a projector like the Cinebeam Qube is the actual picture quality. LG says that you can project up to a 120-inch image. That image is up to 4K resolution at 3,840×2,160. So this is true 4K, not 1080p resolution that is upscaled to 4K like a good number of other projectors tend to do. The RGB laser light source has a 450,000:1 contrast ratio with 154 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Basically, you’re getting a really incredible picture quality out of this projector, especially considering this is not an ultra-short throw projector.

It does include the image-mapping function from its other projectors. This will map out your space and display an image on top of everything. It creates a unique ambiance, like blasting an image of the night sky all over your room. It also includes the automatic brightness adjustment algorithm from LG.

Finally, the LG Cinebeam Qube also runs on webOS, the platform that LG uses on its TVs and other projectors. This is going to give you access to all sorts of streaming services, including Prime Video, Disney+, Netflix, and many more streamers.

Now for the bad but expected news. The LG Cinebeam Qube has no release date or pricing just yet. This is quite common for products announced at CES. A good amount of them will never launch, or they will launch in the second half of the year. This product isn’t as out there as some others we’ve seen, so it might actually launch in the next few months.

Either way, we’ll be at CES in a little over a week to check it out, along with many other products. So make sure you keep it locked to Android Headlines for all of the latest happenings from CES in Las Vegas.
