LG TVs in 2024 will have Chromecast built-in

People should be familiar with LG’s WebOS operating system. This is the operating system that powers its TVs and other devices. It’s one of the most popular out there, but it’s been missing a few features. One of those features is Chromecast.

Chromecast allows you to seamlessly stream content from one device to another. For example, if you have a Google TV device, you’re able to stream what you’re watching on your phone onto the TV. This is perfect for people who want to show a group of people a  movie, but they don’t feel like signing into their Netflix account on another device.

During its keynote, LG announced that in 2024, its devices will come with this functionality built in. So, with LG TVs moving forward, you’ll be able to seamlessly show your content without worrying.

There’s more Google integration with LG TVs

Another of the announcements that LG made today is another part of its partnership with Google. LG TVs will be compatible with Matter, and they’ll act as a hub to control your Google Home Products. So, instead of having to buy a separate hub, you’ll be able to access and control your devices right from your TV.
