The Motorola Edge 40 Neo is coming, and while we’re waiting for it to launch, the phone appeared at the FCC. The phone appeared with a model number XT2307-1.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo appeared at the FCC, and revealed its battery info

That certification confirms that the device will feature a 5,000mAh battery. It will also support 68W fast wired charging. Wireless charging almost certainly will not be a part of the package here.

That is basically everything that the FCC revealed. Luckily, however, more info surfaced earlier. The phone’s design was revealed, and its specifications also got tipped. So we know exactly what to expect.

The device will include two cameras on the back, which will be located in the top-left corner. The phone will have a flat display, and a centered display camera hole. Its bezels will be rather thin.

You’ll be able to choose between three color options when it arrives. The mentioned colors are: Black Beauty, Caneel Bay, and Soothing Sea. All of them have been shown in the video content that surfaced not long ago.

This will be a mid-range smartphone, basically

When it comes to specs, this phone will feature a 6.55-inch fullHD+ (2400 x 1080) pOLED display. That panel will support a 144Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek Dimensity 1050 SoC will fuel the phone.

You can expect to get 12GB of RAM on the inside, and 256GB of storage. Android 13 will come pre-installed on the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, with the company’s MyUX skin on top of it.

A 50-megapixel main camera will be joined by a 13-megapixel secondary camera on the back. We’re presuming that will be an ultrawide unit. A single 32-megapixel camera will sit on the phone’s front side.

Also, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo will be IP68 certified. So, it will be water and dust-resistant, basically. That’s everything we know about it thus far. Its launch date is also still a mystery.
