The Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a curved display with thin bezels, and a centered display camera hole. Two cameras sit on the back, and the backplate is curved towards the sides, but on the very edge.

This smartphone features a 6.55-inch fullHD+ (2400 x 1080) pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It also supports a 360Hz touch sampling rate, and gets up to 1,300 nits of brightness at its peak.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7030 fuels the device. That is MediaTek’s 6nm processor. Motorola included 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM here, with 256GB of uMCP storage.

The phone supports 68W wired fast charging

Android 13 comes pre-installed on the phone, while a 5,000mAh battery is also included. 68W fast wired charging is supported here, and the charger is included in the box.

A 50-megapixel main camera (OIS, Quad Pixel Technology) is backed by a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera (120-degree FoV, f/2.2 aperture). That camera also serves as a macro camera, by the way. On the front, a 32-megapixel unit is placed (f/2.4 aperture, Quad Pixel Technology).

This smartphone does have stereo speakers, and it’s IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. Dolby Atmos support is also a part of the package, as is Bluetooth 5.2. 5G is supported.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo measures 159.6 x 72 x 7.8mm, while it weighs 170 grams. The device comes in PANTONE Soothing Sea and PANTONE Caneel Bay colors, in addition to the vegan leather Black and PANTONE Black Beauty models. So there are four options in total.

The pricing for Motorola’s latest smartphone starts at €399 in Europe. The phone will also reach India in the future, and possibly other markets too.
