The Motorola Moto G14 rumors and leaks have been surfacing for quite some time. We’ve even contributed to them with some images, and the phone is now finally official.

The device has been announced in India, but it’ll be making its way to more markets soon, including Europe. Most of the leaks were spot on, as the device looks just as we predicted, and the specs are also spot on.

The Motorola Moto G14 is a truly affordable smartphone from the company

This is a truly affordable smartphone, so don’t expect miracles in the spec department. We’ll talk more about that soon, let’s focus on the design first, though, shall we?

The Moto G14 has flat sides, and a centered display camera hole. Its bottom bezel is noticeably thicker than the rest, but the phone’s bezels, overall, are not that thick at all.

There are two cameras included on the back of the device. Those cameras are vertically-aligned, and they’re both a part of the same camera island. Motorola’s logo is also easily noticeable on the back.

You will find all of the phone’s physical buttons on the right-hand side. The Moto G14 comes in Sky Blue and Steel Gray color options. Pale Lilac and Butter Cream Vegan Leather versions will also become available soon.

A 6.5-inch fullHD+ display is on offer here, with a 60Hz refresh rate

The device includes a 6.5-inch fullHD+ (2400 x 1080) LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate. It offers a 120Hz touch sampling rate, and an 89.47-percent screen-to-body ratio.

The Unisoc T616 SoC fuels the phone, while Motorola included 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM here. You’ll also find 128GB of UFS 2.2 flash storage inside the device, which you can expand via a microSD card.

A 5,000mAh battery is also included inside of this phone, along with 20W charging. The phone’s power/lock button doubles as a fingerprint scanner, while the phone is splash resistant (IP52 certification).

Two cameras sit on the back, led by a 50-megapixel main unit

A 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8 aperture) sits on the back, along with a 2-megapixel macro camera (f/2.4 aperture). An 8-megapixel selfie camera is also a part of the package, as is a 3.5mm headphone jack.

This phone does include stereo speakers, and has two nano SIM card slots, plus a separate microSD card slot. 4G connectivity is supported, as is Bluetooth 5.0. Android 13 comes pre-installed on the phone.

The Moto G14 measures 161.46 x 73.82 x 7.99mm, while it weighs 177 grams.
