Roborock, who you likely know for their fantastic robot vacuums and mops, has now introduced a new All-in-one Washer Dryer at IFA 2023. This is a first for Roborock, and it’s a rather interesting one. As it works with the Roborock App.
With the Roborock App, you’ll get real-time reminders and the ability to remotely run and control sound prompts. You’ll also be able to schedule your preferred starting time with the Roborock App. This is going to allow you to do dry your clothes on off-peak times, where electricity might be cheaper. With the app, you can also automatically disperse enough detergent based on the weight of your clothes. So you no longer need to add detergent for each load. The app will also show you how much is left. The Zeo One is able to hold about 580ml of detergent and 420ml of softener. Which Roborock claims is enough for 30 days.
The Roborock Zeo One is a large capacity Washer Dryer
Thew new Zeo One is a large capacity washer dryer with 10 kg for washing, 6kg for drying capacity. It also has fast washing and drying which can be done in an hour. Roborock claims that this washer dryer is also easy to install, and it saves space. Which is likely true, as it is a single machine, versus needing both a washer and dryer.
Roborock is also introducing here Zeo-Cycle, for drying your clothes. This is a technology that works by effectively and efficiently capturing moisture from damp clothes without extreme heat thanks to zeolite’s super water vapor absorption capacity.
Zeo-cycle will measure 288,000 square meters about 41,143 times in its own area, to make sure that your clothes are dry. This is good because it means your clothes dry faster, they aren’t getting more heat than needed, and you aren’t spending more money on electricity than what is actually needed.
Roborock has not yet announced pricing on the Zeo One, and availability is not yet available either. We expect to hear more towards the end of 2023, and possibly at CES 2024 – where washer machines are a bigger deal.
