These earbuds are packed with features. And when we say packed, we mean it. The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro do a lot and you’re definitely going to love them as much as we do. While there are a lot of reasons to love these, we found that comfort was one of the biggest reasons. In our review, we said these were the most comfortable earbuds ever. We also found that they deliver great active noise cancellation performance and offer impressive sound quality.
They have great bass and mids and highs are crystal clear. So whether you prefer a more bassy earbud or something that’s tuned for clarity, you shouldn’t be disappointed with these. Battery life is better than the previous pair and is rated to last around 5 hours on a single charge with the ANC on or up to 8 hours with the ANC off. You can also extend that with the charging case to up to 20 hours or 30 hours respectively. In our experience, we got around 6 hours while using the ambient sound mode. This is pretty suitable for the majority of users.
It won’t be the longest-lasting pair of true wireless earbuds out there but it’s more than enough to last you through the day thanks to the case. Another thing that makes these earbuds great is the ambient sound mode or as Samsung calls it, the Conversation Mode. This does exactly what you probably think it does. It turns off active noise cancellation and enables ambient sound so you can hear people without having to take the earbuds out. There are lots of uses for this, but I commonly use it when shopping.
I tend to shop with my earbuds in while listening to music. But when it comes time to check out, I don’t want to remove my earbuds as it’s just easier to leave them in. However, I do usually need to hear the person at the checkout stand. So I would turn on Conversation Mode to hear them.
