The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra was announced today alongside the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+. We already talked about all three devices in our original announcement, and we’re here to take a closer look at the Galaxy S24 Ultra specifications.

Needless to say, this is the company’s most powerful handset. It is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and comes with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Samsung is offering the device in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage flavors. The storage is not expandable, though.
There is a 6.8-inch QHD+ (3120 x 1440, 505 PPI) Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. This is a flat ‘Super Smooth’ display. It’s an LTPO panel that offers an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz. This panel does support HDR10+ content, by the way, and comes with a ‘Vision booster’. The display is protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus Armor.
It supports 45W wired charging, but doesn’t include a charger in the box
A 5,000mAh battery sits inside the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The phone supports 45W wired charging, in addition to Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 (15W). Wireless PowerShare (reverse wireless charging) is also on offer. One thing to note is that a charger is not included in the package, but a charging cable is.
A 200MP camera leads the pack on the back, there are four rear camera here overall
A 200-megapixel main camera (f/1.7 aperture, OIS, 85-degree FoV) sits on the back of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. A 12-megapixel ultrawide camera (f/2.2 aperture, 120-degree FoV) is also included on the back, as is a 10-megapixel telephoto camera (f/2.4 aperture, OIS, 36-degree FoV, 3x optical zoom). The last camera on the back is a 50-megapixel telephoto camera (f/3.4 aperture, OIS, 22-degree FoV, 5x optical zoom). On the front, there is a 12-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.2 aperture, 80-degree FoV).
Android 14 comes pre-installed on the phone, with One UI 6.1. Bluetooth 5.3 is also included in the package, and the phone is IP68-certified for water and dust resistance. Wi-Fi 7 support is also included here.
Both standard and Samsung Store online exclusive colors have been announced
The Galaxy S24 Ultra was announced in Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Yellow. The company will also offer some exclusive colors in Samsung Store (online), Jade Green, Sapphire Blue, and Sapphire Orange.
A set of stereo speakers is on offer here too, and Dolby Atmos support as well. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra measures 162.3 x 79 x 8.6mm, and weighs 232 grams.
