The Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2 are both excellent smartwatches and right now Best Buy has a deal on both that will save you some money. You can currently save $80 on the original Pixel Watch while the Pixel Watch 2 is on sale for $50 off. This applies to all models and colorways. So if you’re a fan of the Pixel Watch 2 in the Bay color which comes with the Polished Silver case, you can get that right now for $349.99 instead of $399.99.
That is, of course, the LTE version of the watch. The Wi-Fi model is also on sale, but you can pick it up for less since it doesn’t have LTE. The regular price for it is $349.99, but it’s on sale right now for $299.99 instead. And again, this includes all three colors. If you’re going for the original Pixel Watch, then you only end up paying $199.99 instead of $279.99. However, Best Buy only has the Black Stainless Steel with the Obsidian band and the Silver Stainless Steel with the Charcoal band. The Chalk colorway is unfortunately unavailable.
Both the Pixel Watch and the Pixel Watch 2 are now running on Wear OS 4 and offer the platform’s latest features. Such as the much simpler data transfer process between mobile devices, and the better integration with Google Home. Only the Pixel Watch 2 comes with the new safety features though. The Pixel Watch 2 also comes with a slightly longer battery life, but more importantly, it has updated sensors. This includes a skin temperature sensor for tracking changes in your sleep environment, menstrual cycle, and wellness. It also delivers more accurate heart tracking and sleep tracking.
What I really love about both is the minimalistic design. It’s simple yet stylish and the digital crown on the side is easy to use for UI navigation. If you’re in need of a smartwatch upgrade, you can’t go wrong with either of these.
