How do I sign up for Snapchat+?
Signing up for Snapchat+ is easy. In the app, tap on your profile picture on the top left corner. Then, tap on the gear icon on the top right of your profile. One of the items on the settings screen will say “Snapchat+”. You’ll see the subscribe button. When you do that, you’ll choose the payment method that you want to use. After that, you’ll have access to the exclusive features.
How much does it cost?
There are two plans that you can get. If you want to pay monthly, it will cost you $3.99/month. If you want to pay by the year, it will cost you $29.99/year. You save 33% by buying the yearly plan, so if you have the money to spare, that might be the way to go.
How do I cancel my plan?
If you want to cancel your Snapchat+ plan, you’ll need to go through your app store. If you are on Android, go to the Play Store and tap on your profile picture on the top right of the interface. Then, tap on the Payments & subscriptions button. On that screen, go to the Subscriptions button. You’ll see the Snapchat+ button on the list of items. Tap on it and tap the Cancel subscription button.

AI-generated images
This is a straightforward tool that generates images on the app based on text input. While in the app, just tap on the AI button in the toolbar. This will bring a text interface (you’ll know you’re there if you see the sparkle icon that basically EVERY AI company is using). Simply type in the prompt that you want generated, and the model will make it for you.
Once you do that, you’ll be able to edit it just like any other Snap. So, you’ll be able to add it to your story or send it to your friends.
Dream Selfies
This feature is your standard AI filter tool. This tool requires you to take a spree of selfies using different angles of your face. After that, you’ll get a pack of eight AI-generated selfies based on your input. Snapchat+ users get one pack of eight for free. Additional packages can be purchased for $1 each.
Selfie extend
This is a pretty unique feature, and it’s the kind of over-the-top feature that Google would make. If you take a selfie close up, you’ll tap on the Extend button. This will zoom out of the photo and artificially create the background. This gives the appearance that the subject is further away in the photo than they actually are.
Custom app icon and chat wallpaper
With Snapchat+, you’ll be able to change the appearance of the app icon. There are 93 options to choose from, and there are different themes that suit your interests.

Generative chat/profile wallpapers
If you don’t like the list of wallpapers that come with Snapchat, then you can make your own. This feature will let you use generative AI to generate your own wallpapers.

You’re likely to have that one Snapchat friend that you chat with more than anyone else. This could be your best friend. Well, what better way to show it than to designate them as your BFF? This user will be pinned to the top of your chat history.

Snapchat designates the people who you talk to the most as your best friends. When you’re a free user, you’ll have up to 8 best friends. If you have Snapchat+, you’ll be able to have up to 16 best friends.
Extra Snap replay
Don’t you wish you could get another chance to look at your friend’s Snap? Well, with the subscription, you get one more chance to see the snap that your friend sent.
Story rewatch
While free users can see how many friends have watched their snaps, this feature will tell you how many friends have actually rewatched your snaps. This is to see how people are liking your content.
Post view emoji
When your friend views your Snap, you’ll see a little emoji pop up on it. This is another way to let you know that your friend viewed your Snap. What’s neat is that you’re able to choose which emoji you want to display.
Snapchat+ badge
This one isn’t a significant feature, it’s more of a status symbol. When you sign up, there will be a badge next to your name letting others know that you’re a Snapchat+ user.
Friend Solar System
The Friend Solar System will show you who your closest friends are. In the solar system. you will be represented as a sun, and your five best friends will be represented as planets. The closest planet will be the one you chat with the most, and the furthest will be the one you talk to the least out of the five.
This feature is neat because you’re able to see other people’s solar systems. It’s fun to see who other people’s best friends are.
Custom notification tones
You’re familiar with Snapchat’s notification sound, but with Snapchat+, you’re able to change it. You’re able to set different custom notification tones for different people. So, if you’re waiting on messages for specific people you can give them their own sound.
Priority Story replies/Story boosts
When your Snapchat idol makes a post, you want them to notice your replies. Because of this, Snapchat+ users’ replies get priority. This means that it will be easy for the poster to see their replies.
