Solos announces the AirGo3 smart glasses at CES 2024

Smart glasses are products that are still making their way into the mainstream. However, Solos is pushing the technology forward, and the AirGo3 are the next step. This is a pair of glasses that is actually powered and running a mobile operating system.

One thing about these glasses is that you can hear audio through their temple legs. They offer pretty high audio quality, so you can use them to listen to music, podcasts, and other types of media. Since they have an open-ear design, you can listen to your content while still remaining aware of your surroundings.

Using Solos’ SmartHinge technology, you’re able to swap out the front frame and replace it with frames with different designs. This allows you to customize your glasses to suit your needs. The temple legs connect to the frames via USB-C, so it’s extremely easy to swap out your frames.

The Solos AirGo3 are IP67 water and dust-resistant. This means that if they fall into freshwater, they will be just fine. They’ll be able to last up to 30 minutes under 3 feet of water. However, if you drop them in pool water or seawater, you may want to take them out much sooner.

These glasses come with chat GPT on board

One of the major features of these glasses is the implementation of generative AI. The Solos AirGo3 come with SolosChat. This is the company’s generative AI chatbot powered by ChatGPT. This will give the glasses their own voice assistant. So, you can ask it any question, and it will give you an audible response. You’ll use it just as you use ChatGPT.

Along with that, Solos chat allows you to translate conversations on the fly. If someone speaks to you in a language that you don’t understand, you will hear the translated speech whispered into your ear. So, it’ll be pretty close to a seamless conversation between two people of different languages.
