Sony is well-known for having some of if not the best noise-canceling headphones on the market, and right now you can grab Sony’s best pair, the WH-1000XM5, for $100 off the regular price. These will usually cost $399.99 which is most certainly a tad bit steep for a pair of headphones (though far from the most expensive options), however, you won’t have to pay $399.99 if you pick these up from Amazon right now. Because of the $100 discount, these can be picked up for $299.99 instead.
Amazon doesn’t list this as a limited-time deal but that doesn’t mean it’ll stick around for long. So if you want the best pair of noise-canceling headphones you can find and you want to save money on the purchase, you should buy these as soon as possible. Why should you buy these headphones? Well aside from industry-leading noise cancellation, the WH-1000XM5 headphones have loads of awesome features.
One of my personal favorites is the ‘Quick Attention’ feature. This lets you briefly stop all audio from the headphones and an ambient mode is enabled so you can hear your surroundings. This is perfect for when you need to quickly talk to someone for a short time. Like answering a question. You just need to place your hand over the right earcup and hold it there to activate the Quick Attention feature. Then when you pull your hand away your music starts back up.
Beyond that, these also have a 30-hour battery life on a single charge. And you get 3 hours of listening time with just 3 minutes on the charger. So that means you can plug them in for 10 minutes and get around 9 hours of listening time. That’s wild. They’re also pretty lightweight and very comfortable. The earcups are nice and supple and hug your ears for all-day comfort. Your ears also shouldn’t get too warm even after hours of use. If you want an excellent pair of noise-canceling headphones, you want these.
