If you pre-order the Xperia 1 V in the country, you’ll get a free pair of LinkBuds, and also a $50 gift card. Do note that this info is based on a listing from Amazon.com, as the phone is available to pre-order for $1,399.
The Xperia 1 V will be released on July 28, so we’re in for quite a wait. Still, Sony is giving its potential consumers nice perks here. The Sony LinkBuds, on their own, are being sold for $138 on Amazon. Add a $50 gift card to that, and you end up with a $188 discount, in a way.
The Sony Xperia 1 V is still quite expensive, though, even with these perks included. This is Sony’s pride and joy, though, and if you’re looking for the absolute best the company has to offer, this is it.
The phone comes without a display camera hole or notch, and it has a ribbed pattern on the glass back, and its sides are also more grippy than the ones on most of its competitors, if not all of them.
A 4K AMOLED display is included here, and the same goes for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 fuels the phone, while a 5,000mAh battery is included in the package. This phone does offer an audio jack, and it even has a 6.5-inch 4K AMOLED display.
The Xperia 1 V does have very compelling stereo speakers, and it ships with Android 13 out of the box. A side-facing fingerprint scanner is also a part of the package, as is a ZEISS-backed camera setup.
A 48-megapixel main camera is backed by a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera. The main camera is especially interesting as Sony used a new sensor here, and it’s very promising.
