Customers using an older T-Mobile plan will need to be prepared for the carrier to migrate them off of it soon. Recent reports point out that this migration is set to kick off in the near future, and customers should be aware of this. This migration will impact the pricing of some user’s plans while moving them over to newer plans.

News of this coming upgrade began circulating the internet as a result of some documents that leaked. These documents in question held information regarding this migration of customers from older plans to newer ones. One way customers can escape this migration is if they opt out of their older plans. Doing this by themselves allows them to purchase a newer plan.

T-Mobile will migrate customers to new plans with a variety of upgrades

There are a total of six older plans that T-Mobile is looking to migrate users from. This migration will move users off these five older plans over to five different new plans. All migrations will be from an older plan to its equivalent newer plan on T-Mobile’s Go5G options.

If you are wondering what older plans will bend to this coming migration, then this article will help you. The older plans that T-Mobile plans to move users from are Magenta, Simple Choice / Select Choice, Magenta 55+, One Plan, and Simple Choice Business. If you are currently using any of these T-Mobile plans, then the coming migration will affect you.

Once the migration starts, users on the plans mentioned above will be moved to newer plans. The new plans that T-Mobile will move customers to are Magenta To, Magenta, Essentials Select, Go5G, Go5G 55, and Business Unlimited Advanced. From the leaked document, it is clear that this migration will be in a particular order and not just randomly.

T-Mobile assures users that they aren’t raising the prices of the plans, but just moving users over to newer plans. However, prices for the newer plans are slightly higher than the older plans these users are migrating from. By October 17, users of older T-Mobile plans will start getting notifications signalling this change.
