Recent leaks, sourced from the reputable leaker Ishan Agarwal via 91Mobiles, shed light on the storage, RAM, and color options of the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R. OnePlus will release these two devices in the global market on January 23. The leak claims that the 24GB RAM variant of the OnePlus 12 will remain exclusive to the Chinese market.
The OnePlus 12 comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a 6.82″ QHD+ OLED with 4500 nits local peak brightness support, and the 50MP Sony LYT-808 main sensor.
Agarwal specifies two configurations for the Indian market: one with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and another with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Interestingly, this mirrors the options available in the Chinese release, with the exception of the absence of a 24GB variant in India. The move aligns OnePlus more closely with competitors like the Google Pixel 8 Pro, which also features 12GB of RAM, while the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra continues to commence at 8GB.
