Last week, T-Mobile launched an expensive new unlimited plan with some additional perks, including device upgrades every year. Verizon has now followed up with a new unlimited plan of its own. Called Unlimited Ultimate, it’s a $90 per month plan that gives you more mobile hotspot data and a few more extra features.

Verizon’s Unlimited Ultimate plan will be available from this Thursday, August 31. While a single line costs $90 per month, you can bring the price down to just $55 a month by adding four lines with autopay. At this price, you get unlimited high-speed data on the carrier’s fastest 5G network, which it calls 5G Ultra Wideband.

This plan also includes 60GB of mobile hotspot data, which is the most offered in the industry. T-Mobile’s new $100 per month Go5G Next plan offers 50GB of mobile hotspot data. Verizon has essentially doubled the hotspot data from the $80 per month Unlimited Plus plan, its current most expensive plan.

Additionally, Verizon offers 10GB of international premium data per month. You also get unlimited calls and texts to the US from abroad. Its Global Choice feature further gives you 300 minutes of voice calling to a country of your choice every month. The carrier also promises exclusive device promotions and offers for Unlimited Ultimate customers.

Both new and existing Verizon customers can buy two connected device lines at a 50% discount with its most expensive plan. So if you get a smartwatch and a tablet with cellular connectivity, you’ll pay less than what the devices normally cost. If you’re tempted to upgrade to this plan, it’ll be available on Verizon’s website tomorrow.

Verizon now lets you add perks manually to your unlimited plans

Verizon’s new Unlimited Ultimate plan is part of its myPlan program introduced in May this year. It allows customers to customize their plans at any time. You can manually add any perk you’d like to your existing phone plan at $10 per perk.

If you have friends or family members looking to switch to Verizon or add a new line, the carrier’s Refer a Friend program offers great savings as well. You can refer up to ten friends in a year, with each sign-up giving you $15 a month in bill credit. If you can take full advantage of this program, that’s a $1,800 saying in a year. Friends who sign up through your reference also get the same benefit for up to 12 lines, totaling a $2,160 yearly saving at max.
